Retraction, what a wonderful thing!

I didn’t use retraction for the longest time because anytime I tried to use it, it would make more problems than solutions. Today I am sick with a cold and have no energy for anything more than sitting here printing things.

The photo above shows two prints: the left uses retraction, the right didn’t. The left set looks great right off the tape, with very minor clean-up needed where it touched the tape. The right-hand set would need significant clean-up with a hobby knife before being usable or even presentable.

Using retraction takes time, so the print speed is slower. But the results are worth it.
