You’d think that two thermocouples taped on the same surface would come to show the same values.
Which one *is* correct?
I don’t really know. It seems to be that different meters use different methods of reference junction compensation. Perhaps one assumes the temperature of it will always be around 21C, and the other measures temperature but from inside the multimeter case.
Either way, I now know a lot more about thermocouples.
